What Workshops do we offer?


All of our workshops are adapted to meet your organization’s unique needs.  We can provide the training at our facilities in Dallas or at a mutually agreeable site.  Our three most popular workshops are listed first.  Additional workshop descriptions follow.  We also create customized workshops.

Our three most popular workshops are:

1. If you are early in your Performance Excellence Journey and want to get your leadership team on the same page using Performance Excellence the easy way, to identify strengths and gaps, and to create an implementation action plan, then our Performance Excellence Boot Camp is right for you.

2. If you have decided to apply for one of the Excellence Awards and want a facilitated workshop that helps you understand what the Criteria and Scoring Guidelines are really asking for and how to respond, then use a proven application preparation process that will make it easier to create your application while you are documenting areas to improve.  Our Award Application Boot Camp is right for you.  Here is what our customers said about this Workshop:

If you need to create an effective strategic plan with balanced scorecard metrics, then our customizable two-day Strategic Planning Workshop helps you define your top objectives, strategies, and action plans.  An optional third day deploys the action plan into the organization.  A Performance Review / Accountability process is used to assure that the plan gets implemented.

The Baldrige Criteria, based on the national Baldrige model, are the collective best practices used to manage world-class organizations. Building Your Organizational Profile (1/2 or 1 day)

Completing an Organizational Profile is the first step in a self-assessment process. It defines who you are as an organization, what's important to you and your customers/stakeholders, and what core and support processes are critical to achieve desired results.

Balanced Scorecard for Performance Excellence (1 or 2 days)

A Balanced Scorecard helps organizations examine and balance measures needed to drive improvement results and satisfy all stakeholders. Learn to identify these measures and link them back to your organization's improvement efforts.

Process Management for Performance Excellence (1 or 2 days)

Process Management helps organizations examine processes for alignment, measures, effectiveness, and efficiency in driving organizational results. Learn the components of a process management system and how to use it to manage daily work in your organization.

Leading to Performance Excellence (1 day)

Leadership is critical to driving Performance Excellence in an organization. Learn how you can lead the change, support the performance improvement process, and begin to preserve knowledge in an environment of constant change.

Knowledge Management: Leading a Learning Organization (1 day)

Knowledge Management is critical to organizational efficiency and success. As employees move to other jobs or retire, you lose valuable experience and information. Learn how to put systems in place to preserve that knowledge. Organizational information is part of the Knowledge Management System. Storing, filing, and finding information becomes an issue that affects availability to the people who need it to make daily decisions.

Internal Examiner Training: Building Capacity to Assess Organizational Performance and Write Feedback for Improvement (3 days)

Participants will examine the Baldrige assessment processes used to evaluate management practices. You will learn how key business factors shape the process, how to find key strengths and opportunities for improvement based on the Baldrige Criteria and how to write relevant, understandable, and actionable feedback. Your team will also create an action plan for next steps in conducting an assessment of your organization.
